2023 Spring Election Information
Vote on February 21st!
Important dates
February 1st- Deadline to register to vote by mail
February 1st- Deadline to register to vote online
February 16th- Deadline to request an absentee ballot (regular and permanent overseas voters)
February 17th- Deadline to request an absentee ballot (indefinitely confined and military)
November 4th @ 5pm- Deadline to register to vote in person at your municipal clerk’s office
February 7th-February 17th (possibly- not all municipal offices offer in-person absentee voting)- Deadline for in-person absentee voting
February 21st- Register to vote in person at your polling place
February 21st- Deadline to return absentee ballot (BY 8PM!)
Changes to absentee ballots
- Due to a 2022 WI Supreme Court ruling, drop-boxes will no longer be allowed in Wisconsin elections, including the Spring 2023 Election
- You can only drop off your own ballot to your municipal clerk's office

- Find out which candidates will be on your ballot by using this link
- Check your municipality's website for in-person absentee (early voting) dates and hours
- Make sure to request and return your absentee ballot as soon as possible!
