Blue Sky Waukesha was founded in 2019 to help Waukesha County voters be informed, engaged, and empowered. Our primary goal is to share accurate information about voting and elections, and to offer programs on civics and other topics that voters should understand in order to make informed choices.
Blue Sky Waukesha's advisory board is made up of people who live in the county — in the city of Waukesha, the city of Brookfield, the town of Brookfield, and Elm Grove. Our goal is to expand that board to include members from all over the county, to share local news and concerns that will help voters make good decisions.
Above all, we want to help people vote and be engaged members of their communities. Democracy is not a spectator sport! Everyone is welcome to attend our events, but we encourage you to become a Blue Sky member to support the work we do. Sign up for our newsletter for the latest updates.

Blue Sky Waukesha is the place for people who want to connect, learn, and stand together for a brighter future.
Crucial
Waukesha County
Waukesha County is Wisconsin’s third-largest county, located in the southeastern part of the state. Spanning 576 square miles and home to 37 municipalities, it includes a mix of suburban and rural communities. Waukesha is part of the politically influential WOW Counties (Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington), which have historically been Republican strongholds and have played a decisive role in state and national elections. But that’s changing.
In recent years, Waukesha County has started to shift. Competitive school board races, changing demographics, and growing grassroots energy have all signaled a political landscape in motion — one that’s becoming more receptive to progressive ideas and candidates. Blue Sky Waukesha is building long-term infrastructure to connect voters, support candidates, and create lasting change right here in Waukesha County.
