2026 Elections

Blue Sky Waukesha is already working hard behind the scenes to ensure we’re prepared for a busy and critical 2026 election year. Our team is gathering data, connecting with candidates, and preparing our plans to elect Waukesha County leaders who will prioritize our community at the local, state, and federal levels.

In 2026, Wisconsin voters will head to the polls for four important elections:

The spring elections will include a primary on February 17 and a general election on April 7. Expect key races, including another Wisconsin Supreme Court seat. Appeals Court Judge Chris Taylor has announced her bid and is running against conservative Justice Rebecca Bradley.

The fall elections, as part of the national midterms, will have high stakes for Wisconsin and the entire country. The primary will be held on August 11 and the general on November 3. All of Wisconsin’s partisan executive and administrative offices will be up for election, including the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and more. All eight U.S. House seats will also be on the ballot, and yes, Scott Fitzgerald, we are coming for you. The fall general will fill 17 odd-numbered seats in the Wisconsin Senate and all 99 seats in the State Assembly.

As of right now, Governor Tony Evers has not yet announced whether he will seek reelection. For the 5th Congressional District race against Scott Fitzgerald, Andy Beck has already announced his candidacy. We will also be working hard on all nine Assembly districts located in Waukesha County (you can check them out here), as well as the 5th Senate District (currently held by Rob Hutton) and the 33rd Senate District (currently held by Chris Kapenga). The 5th Senate District will be especially important, as it now leans blue after redistricting.

We will be releasing comprehensive voter guides for each election right here on this page. These guides will help you understand who’s running and where they stand on the issues that matter most to Waukesha County and Wisconsin.
