The Bill of Rights shapes our daily lives more than many people realize. From free speech and religious freedom to due process and privacy, this session explores how these constitutional protections work in practice and why they remain at the center of today’s civic debates.

Who decides what rights look like in practice: the federal government, the states, or the courts? This session examines the balance of power in our system and how different levels of government influence the freedoms and protections Americans rely on every day.

Lawyers do far more than argue cases in court. Learn how attorneys help shape laws, defend constitutional rights, advise governments and organizations, and ensure access to justice in communities across the country.

State government affects everything from education and transportation to healthcare and elections. Join us to learn how public officials work together, how decisions are made, and how residents can effectively engage with government and make their voices heard.

A healthy democracy depends on an informed public. This session explores the role of journalism, the challenges facing modern media, and how citizens can navigate information, misinformation, and an increasingly complex news environment.

The future of congressional representation, redistricting, and democratic accountability.

How are political districts drawn, and why does it matter? This session examines redistricting, representation, and the systems that help ensure elected officials remain accountable to the people they serve in a changing democracy.
